The highest Court in the State of Victoria, Australia
While most cases are heard in Melbourne, the Supreme Court is a ‘court for all Victorians’ we hear matters in their region of origin where possible.
The Court’s Trial Division administers and hears cases. If a party has cause to appeal a decision handed down from the Trial Division they can seek to do so in the Court of Appeal . Our judiciary is made up the Chief Justice, the President of the Court of Appeal, judges, associate judges and judicial registrars.
